Challenge
In 2019 the Olesa de Montserrat Town Council approved the Local Health Plan 2019-2023. Now that the Plan has come to an end, the Town Council considers it necessary to draw up a new Local Health Plan that systematises the health actions to be promoted in the coming years. With this objective in mind, it is necessary to evaluate the functioning of the previous plan, update the health profile to find out the current needs of the population and, subsequently, design a new Local Health Plan that responds to these needs.
Response
The Action Plan has been drawn up, a document that aims to define the objectives to be achieved in order to respond to the challenges detected, and to specify which actions and methodologies will be appropriate to achieve them. To this end, a technical and citizen prioritisation of the needs detected in the diagnosis phase has been carried out. Subsequently, intersectoral working sessions were held. Finally, the document systematises the actions to be carried out in health over the next 5 years, from an intersectoral perspective and working towards equity in health.
