Challenge
The Ciutat Vella District should provide a support service for the implementation of the actions foreseen in the Ciutat Vella Intercultural Action Plan, which accompanies the mainstreaming of the intercultural perspective in the District’s actions. In particular, the service must facilitate:
– the systematisation of the information generated by the projects and actions with an intercultural perspective already promoted in the District;
– the activation of new actions with an intercultural perspective in the territory;
– the construction of indicators and methodologies that allow the monitoring and evaluation of these actions, foreseen in the Intercultural Action Plan of the Ciutat Vella District 2022-2025;
– improving the communication of the actions promoted, both with regard to the diverse population and to the citizens as a whole.
Response
Spora designs and implements a methodology for the review and systematisation of the information generated by the projects with an intercultural perspective led by the District, and for their evaluation, with the aim of facilitating the homogenisation of the information generated, the consolidation of the working dynamics of the technical teams involved and the standardisation of the monitoring and evaluation systems of the projects.
Spora also designs and implements the methodology for accompanying the Ciutat Vella Intercultural Action Group (GAICV): the GAICV has been conceived as a working space made up of representatives of entities and technicians from the District, to reflect on the strategic future of the Plan and its operationalisation. Within the framework of GAICV, thematic working groups linked to the strategic projects with an intercultural perspective promoted by the district have been activated to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the different agents involved and the mainstreaming of the intercultural perspective among the District’s technical team.
