The National Strategy for Primary Health Care and Community Health (ENAPiSC) is elaborated through a methodological process during one year and has been structured in three main stages, each of which is marked by the elaboration of a final report.
The first stage is the elaboration of the Recommendations Document for Primary and Community Health Care from the contributions of the different professional groups of the Primary and Community Health Care. The second stage is the elaboration of the Basis Document for the elaboration of the Strategic Plan of Primary and Community Health Care with the recommendations that the Department of Health assumes. Finally, the Document of the National Strategy for Primary and Community Health Care (ENAPiSC) in which the proposals of the Department of Health are operative.
During these three stages, a total of 294 people participated in the different professional groups of the Primary and Community Health Care. The participation was mainly focused on the first and third stages, with 175 people and 119 people respectively. The second stage was developed mainly by a work group from the Department of Health and CatSalut: the Operational Group.
It should be mentioned that this methodological process has not ended with the delivery of the document of the National Strategy. On the contrary, the ENAPiSC is a living process with mechanisms to continue to be updated and constructed as it is implemented.
